Gabriel Carter has become the latest member of Pilgrims to be certified by the Business Continuity Institute (BCI), further building upon Pilgrims’ consultancy offering to the corporate world.

Gabriel’s certification substantiates a consistently high level of demonstrable quality in Business Continuity Management and acknowledges the gold-standard benchmark for industry best practice today.

The certificate is based on an internationally accepted set of standards, known as Certification Standards for Business Continuity professionals, developed and published in co-operation with the Disaster Recovery Institute International of the USA. These standards and practices will enable Gabriel to build on the existing core strengths of Pilgrims’ Consultancy function, as Pilgrims’ Director of Business Development, Danny Williams explains:

“Where many security consultancies focus only on traditional fields such as Physical Security, Crisis Management or Close Protection, Pilgrims’ Risk Management Consultancy can help businesses build organisational resilience at every level: Security, Incident Management, Crisis Management, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery. BCI methodology offers an organisationally sensitive approach to problems that extend beyond simple physical risk. It enables the development of Business Continuity processes designed to safeguard the interests of clients’ key stakeholders, value-creating activities and reputation.”
